Take a step back in time and lose yourself in the old mining districts and ghost towns that surround the Sumpter Valley in theElkhorn Mountains of North Eastern Oregon. Half-day, Full-day and Multi-day rentals and guided trips are available.
SxS / ATV Rentals
All rentals include a 2-seat SxS, helmets and goggles. Our machines are Yamaha Wolverines 700cc R-Specs as seen in our photos and videos. Machines are fully automatic with power steering and easy to drive. All machines are equipped with a basic emergency kit including a fire extinguisher, shovel, hand saw, first aid kit, small tool kit, tire repair kit, and a 12v tire inflator. We recommend that you ride with others for safety purposes.
RATES DO NOT INCLUDE FUEL... Machines must be filled with premium non-ethanol fuel upon return. Fuel is available at the Stage Stop just down the street which is open daily.

Basic Rider & Driver Requirements
Drivers must be 21 years old or over with a valid license or 25 years old if driving a minor passenger. Passengers can be as young as 8 years old, but must be big enough to ride without a car seat and use a standard seat belt as defined by the Oregon State Restraint Law. All participants must sign a Participant Agreement form. Parents or Guardians must be present to sign for their minors. If anyone is pregnant or has heart, neck, or back problems, we do not encourage you to participate.
What to Wear & Bring Along
We recommend wearing long pants and closed toed shoes. You will want to bring a warm jacket as temperatures can be very cold in the mornings and evenings. We also suggest that you bring gloves, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Balaclavas, neck gaiters, or bandanas are also recommended for dust abatement. We have balaclavas, neck gaiters, and gloves for sale at check-in. Helmets and goggles are provided. A cooler with snacks, lunch, and water is always a great idea. Our machines have an enclosed, water tight compartment to store your personal belongings and an open trunk space (approximately 12x35 ) for a small cooler or additional storage.
Navagation
Free Apps and free maps... We recommend downloading a free GPS navigation app, either GAIA or AVENZA to your smartphone or tablet. Free maps of the area are available on both Apps for easy navigation. If you are using a tablet, it will need to have GPS capability.
Insurance
If by chance there is an accident and damage occurs to the equipment, you will be responsible for the repairs or replacement. Full replacement can be $15,000.00 or more. We do not offer insurance or damage waivers on our SxS Rentals. Please contact your SxS or Auto Insurance to see if coverage on a SxS rental is included in your existing policy. If not, they can typically add it for a small feel. Insurance is not required to rent our equipment, but we highly recommend it.
